    faenil ho risolto…fiuuuuu….. Se vuoi sapere tutto leggi qui http://www.ipmart-forum.it/showthread.php?320412-aiuto!!-Omnia-hd-bloccato!&p=1926290 praticamente sono riuscito ad accenderlo tenendo premuto anche il tasto fotocamera oltre a quello dell’accensione… Sai cosa comporta?

    nono sono certo che sia anche il tasto fotocamera xké quando dopo essersi acceso si é riavviato da solo, non partiva più senza tenere premuto anche fotocamera

    Hi Faenil,

    I’ve heard great things about your firmware and like many others I’m waiting eagerly for the it’s highly anticipated release :smile:

    I was curious in the meantime if you’re able to answer a question about the default keyboard. I know there are various languages, however it’s more of a general thing. When I type a message with my English-defaulted keyboard I only see the alphabetical keys. If I want to enter numbers of symbols such as @ or ! I like most others have to switch to the numerical keyboard.

    I wanted to know if an alpha-numerical keyboard exists. For those of us who send lots of emails it’d be a really great feature.

    ciao faenil…e possibile cambiare le 4 icone nella schermata iniziale della n2o4 cioè telefono,messaggi,rubrica,menu.
    ho visto che si può fare per il tema basic e finger use…io invece uso il samsung widget,perche lo trovo molto funzionale..si può fare lo stesso?,in caso di riposta affermativa come?

    Really bad

    Hello Faenil,

    First of all i wanna congratulate you for making a very stable firmware. I really like THE QUEEN as well as all your previous roms … anyway recently i got a problem … not very serious though … i accidentally deleted the icons on E:/icons ,since they show in my gallery … and now my homescreen is icon less lol, and the only solution i can think right now is to reboot and reinstall every apps i had or ask you to upload the icons and maybe tell other users to hide the folder so it wont show icons and gallery and do the same mistake i did … anyway thanks in advance …

    ciao faenil,ho un problema: avviando il faenilator mi appare una schermata nera e dopo qualche secondo mi ritorna alla schermata degli strumenti,perchè? io ho messo la n204, poi il pack italiano e mi capita questo…
    si puo fare qualcosa? grazie mille in anticipo…
    complimenti per la rom fantastica e molto curata in tutto…

    ma perchè non leggete nè il changelog nè la pagina Q/A :(

    Weird bug in n2o3, if battery goes too low and phone shuts itself it resets all settings and phonebook also!!

    ——- >> FAENIL ho trovato un modo per far si che, abilitando il task3d, (e probabilmente funziona anche con il nav3d, ma al momento nn ce l’ho sulla rom nè conosco il nome dell’exe) questo all’avvio rimanga in background!! forse lo sai già però te lo dico lo stesso ;-) : sempre usando powerboot nella startup list dopo la voce taskswicher.exe ho messo ailaunch.exe che è l’exe della home. così powerboot dopo aver avviato il task3d fa tornare la schermata alla home

    nn è elegantissimo cm metodo ma funziona bene a mio parere

    PS: implementi anche tu l’apertura veloce delle cartelle per piacere? o almeno ci dici come fare, perchè è un bug di symbian veramente fastidioso

    Ciao Faenil, la videochiamata non funziona… so che tu dici che va main realta’ squilla, rispondono ma il video non si vede in nessuno dei due telefoni… torna sul IP forum, siamo gia’ in dua ad avere lo stesso problema… AIUTOOOOOOOOOO

    oggi ho fato tutti i tentativi con questa rom per la videochiamata. ho provato prima a vedere la sim su un nokia 95 per vedere se era un problema della 3 ( ho questo operatore). risultato: era tutto OK! allora provo con la rom n2o4 in tutte le configurazioni possibili con o senza gadgets, WDR ON/OFF, ecc.. NON c’era verso che la videochiamata funzionasse! sembra andare tutto bene; l’altro tel squilla ma quando risponde ne si vede ne si sente nulla da tutte e due le parti. in più dalla parte dove c’è la rom cucinata con la n204 le OPZIONI sulla parte bassa SX, NON si aprono! credo proprio che ci sia un bug nel sistema… forse il faenilator? mah! Risultato ho riflashato la n2o3 che era Ottima. grazie comunque a Faenil per il suo lavoro che continuo ad apprezzare molto. chissà se riesce a trovare il sistema per far funzionare la videochiamata con la n2o4. lui dice che con la wind funziona. ma forse ha solo provato gli squilli che fino a lì va tutto ok. il problema è alla risposta.

    per adesso the queen è il miglior firmware che ho provato =) solamente cè una cosa che non mi riesce più fare…
    accendere il cellulare il modalità bootloader..sai mica se sono io ebete o se è qualcosa legato alla rom? grazie!

    Ciao Faenil, quando sistemi la videochiamata? voglio tenere la v8-32 il meno possibile, la tua e’ veloce e stabilissima…
    ma il problema quale e’? perche con la n203 e la v8 funziona (ho testato)… che strano…

    ma poi il boot non e’ proprio modificabile? ci vuole un talpa samsumg, cosi’ sarebbe possibile?

    il cell e’ una meraviglia, sviluppiamolo :-)

    tranqui l’ho già fixato ;) solo che non sono a casa questi giorni e quindi non posso uppare la versione nuova :)
    ma sappi che è tutto ok ;)
    per il bootloader dimentica :)

    Ciao Faenil. Ho flashato nuovamente alla 4 , grande Rom! Ho un consiglio da chiederti. Si verifica una cose che con la 4 precedente “non fixata” NON si verificava.Quando attivo l’applicazione startbackup al riavvio il cell rimane congelato sulla schermata “samsung”. Solo togliendo ripetutamente la batteria e riavviandolo riesco a farlo avviare e compare il messaggio ” backup eseguito”. Alcune volte devo eseguire un hard reset. Cosa ne pensi?

    su nokia beta labs ho scaricato la nuova versione di ovimaps
    e dopo i primi passaggi nell’installazione si blocca.
    sai consigliarmi dove sbaglio?

    Ciao faenil, veramente complimenti per l’enorme lavoro,
    per la prima volta in vita mia penso che faro’ una donazione :-)
    Solo una cosa, considerando che ho l’i8910 ha un mese e,
    nonostante abbia letto molte pagine ancora ho le idee confuse:
    quale versione consigli? ora vedo che ci sono la E con / senza o con Swype
    o come si chiama, giuro che non ci sto’ capendo una mazza.
    Io uso il cell solo con scacchi, navigatore e pochi altrim symbian sw.
    Ma soprattutto, ho visto che ci sono altri fw (sev7en, hyperX). Mi dai
    un consiglio spassionato: quale mi consigli????

    Ciao Faenil, complimenti per l’enorme sforzo che fai per accontentarci e rendere il nostro i8910 sempre più performante e unico.
    Ti chiedo come mai con la vecchia n2o3 la batteria mi durava 4-5 giorni, mentre con la nuova n2o4 non più di 1 giorno e mezzo, con il medesimo utilizzo di prima.
    Ho provato anche a seguire i suggerimenti del tutorial “How to improve battery live” ma senza ottenere nessun risultato apprezzabile.
    Non vorrei dover reinstallare la vecchia versione per ovviare a questo inconveniente.

    ragazzi potrebbe fare un collegamento per la fotocamera frontale per implementarlo nella faenilator sarebbe un ottima funzione ;-) comunque ti ringrazio del lavoro che hai fatto!! ;-) volevo sapere se sei ingrado o se sia possibile il multitouch magari in una nuova rom..l’ultima domanda che volevo farti e se in futuro spero non troppo lontano sia possibile portare symbian 3 th su omnia hd ;-) comunque ancora grazie di tutto e credo di parlare per tutti nel dire che ci hai regalato davvero tutto un’altro cellulare ;-)

    am using n204 (thx for ur efforts)
    but i have a problem in running OVI store application it starts with a blank page
    so i decided to upgrade the java to version 2
    but every time i try to install it it gives me as error msg as below

    Unable to Install. Component is already built-in

      to run ovistore you need to change the phone user agent (phone id) you can do it with hx patcher at the moment (new faenilator will have this feature too ) ;)

      java 2 is not needed, and it can’t be installed…
      I didn’t let my user install it because it is very bugged on i8910 since it’s made for nokias ;)

      Solved (Is this a cooked firmware bug ?) !!!
      First off all : check your credits ($) with your cell operator and all services available to your cell !
      Turn back to i8910xxil5 original firmware ( custom i8910xeuil3 (30/12/2009)) (uk)
      Instructions and latest firmware here :

      hand made a wap connection point (APN) (PAcket data ) as described by my cell operator

      With cooked firmware :
      Before – No modem connection with pcstudio7 (make a pc to use a phone as a modem ) – After ok
      Before – No firmware check / update with pcstudio 7 – after ok (“you have the last update”)
      Before – all applications install – After : only signed applications install
      Before – No internet browsing “packet data connection not available” – After : no more warnings
      Before – No multimedia messages , only text messages – After : both !
      I will try flashing a cooked firmare again to check for diferences !

    After installing Sygic 8.22 the icon for it is not correct. The icon in Samsung LBS and on the home screen (finger use) is an icon with a hand holding a mobile handset instead of the red Sygic icon. How can I resolve this in n2o4? Thanks

    This is really IMPORTANT!!! I have the spbshell installed in my i8910. but I want to disable it for a while without uninstalling it. because I want to run the nfs shift and it won’t run while the SPB SHELL is running. The EA LOGO comes then the phone restarts. because SPBSHELL takes up too much RAM. but everytime I close SPB with HANDy task manager it automatically starts up. SO, how can I disable it??? please TELL ME.

    Hey Faenil,

    I just heard that the

    Australian I8910DXJB3
    and Australian I8910DXIH1

    both or any one of them has the call recording API enabled. can u please check it out when u hav time?? It will gonna be a ground breaking feature if that can be imported to your firwares.
