If You can please mod Your n203 fw. I’d use without format on mass memory. I’ll delete manualy, the system directories, before the flashg. Thx. Feri
Feri, I would do that…but the problem is that people do not follow directions…they just flash because they want a better phone, they don’t format, and this causes lots of bugs….
then they come here saying “your rom is bugged” … while it’s their fault..
this is why I have to keep the “format E” operation…

Thank you very much for this !! I need some help with one thing : I don’t understand how the localization pack is supposed to be installed. I open the .exe of N203 base and flash my phone and then what ? I think I’m doing something wrong there… can you help me please ?
flash the base, then flash the langpack, then make hardreset, and then select your language in Settings

Hey thanks for all your effort.
One query i have is in the main menu at the bottom it has the options and exit buttons whereas on my official (poor) samsung fw it has the dialer contacts options etc at the bottom on main menu. Is there anyway to get this in n203?
that is a consequence of the kinetic scrolling in menu

Hi, I just flashed your ROM.
The focus in the HD video is great, and so is the fixed FPS.
The kastor effects are fast and I love the built in hack
Only thing is, I can’t get my phone to browse the web with Opera or Skyfire. It can connect to WLAN but it can’t load the page when I try to go to a url.
Maybe this is due to you wlan network configuration…

Mate! you’ve done an excellent job. I am dying to try this but I can’t.
Reason, I don’t know the basics to flash and I haven’t flashed my i8910 ever.
Secondly, assure me if I can always restore the original firmware.
if you don’t brick your phone, you can always flash an official firmware

I finally upgraded to your custom firmware, after giving up on Samsungs so-called big update…..Thank you so much for your work, I now have renewed life to my Omnia HD. I’m still holding on to the phone, even if all my colleauges have bought an Android phone (HTC Desire mainly).
I bought the phone because of the video features, and the HD recording not working have always bugged me. Finally this is fixed, thanks too you. Also the fix with the gallery/player just browsing specific folders is really great news.
I’ve left you a donation, and hope others will do so too, because your work is really worth it
Crossing my fingers on your continued work to keep the firmware focused on performance and basic core functionality.
There is still some things I’ve would hope to see a fix for:
1. The Podcast-client have never ever worked for me. I have tried several RSS-feeds and no luck.
2. Support for specified jpg for album cover (like Folder.jpg) on the music-player.
3. File storage settings on picture/video. I really hate all those folders created, and I found this to be a Symbian thing (my friend bought an SE Vivaz, same thing here). I wanted the files to be named ascending, and it took some time to see that the date format on the phone gave the correct sorting. Works ok, but the fixed setting is not a preferred viewing format (YYYYMMDD). So, a config for filename pattern, and all files in the same folder would be great!

about the podcast client…I used it once, but I didn’t try any rss feed, I just watched the featured video from a channel they recommended on the software screen…
2) the musicplayer already has support for albums cover…but honestly, I have never used it, I don’t know how it works
3) I’ll try hard to solve this one…

Hey!
From what I read, this is an awesome FW, so well done on that. I’ve encountered a problem however. I downloaded the n2o3 base file, extracted it, then attempted to run the .exe, but an error message pops up. Now, I can’t really tell you what it says as it’s a bunch of characters unfamiliar to me, but to give you a brief idea of what it looks like I will list the letters they look like:
“CA.J+x.YAIAII1/2CCaABAOTU”
Obviously they’re not the characters used, so imagine them with accents on and things. I hope this all makes some sense to you, and any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Tom.
