n2o4 Download Page
Time to celebrate a new birth, n2o4 – codename THE QUEEN, is now out for public! 
The betatesting has been very long, I hope testers did not miss anything, even if some of them were a bit lazy
So, here’s the changelog you have been waiting for so long! I’ll only write the changes from n2o3, otherwise the list would be far too long lol
CHANGELOG :
- Java Certificates from SE Vivaz —> Enjoy the new facebook app! DOWNLOAD FACEBOOK APP FROM SE VIVAZ
- New method to start nav3d and task3d at boot without any 3rd party software!
- WDR in camera is now set to ON by default! if you want it to OFF, you have to put it off each photo you take
- FingerUse and Basic Homescreens icons can now be changed! Just change the .mif file in “C:/private\10207254\themes\271012080\270513751\271063148\1.0\sources” if you want to change Basic HS icons or change the file in “C:\private\10207254\themes\271012080\270513751\271068379\1.0\sources” to change FingerUse HS icons!
- Two versions! One with the gadget in E which causes the widget hs bug (FOR THOSE WHO DON’T USE WIDGET HS AND USE A LOT OF FLASH HOMESCREENS) and another one without the mod (FOR THOSE WHO USE WIDGET HS AND DON’T WANT IT TO BE BUGGED!
- ShakeToSpeaker patch, for those who want to switch to speaker in a call just by shaking the phone!
- Prox patch for RomPatcher!
- CHINESE AND DUTCH LOCALIZATION ADDED!!!
- VoipAudioSrv is now installable! You can install Nokia versions of fring !
- International keyboard in every version! :=
- Thai keyboard modded by a Thai user! thanks for that !
- “Nspeed” kastor effects, as voted by most of the users on the latest poll!
- GTranslator widget –> Very handy for people who often need to translate words! (connection required)
- “The Queen” wallpaper by malbono, thanks for that
- Qwerty buttons now change colour if the theme is made to change it!
- FileBrowser updated to v4.5.2!!
- DATE FORMAT is set to YYYY/MM/DD so that picture will be saved with YYYY/MM/DD name!!! (attention, this resets to dd/mm/yyyy if you make a hardreset, but just change it back from the Settings of the phone )
- MEDIAPLAYER SCROLLING FIXED!!! WE FINALLY GOT THE PERMISSION! (Disassembled by Panagiotis, HX-team)

- MEDIAPLAYER SCROLLING FIXED!! (I’ve written this before and it’s in HX-V8 also, but some of you may have skipped it, so I’m writing it again )
- We had only 4 Jpeg Codecs so far, now we have not 1, nor 2, nor 3, BUT 4 NEW UNSEEN JPEG CODECS!!! Enjoy yourself taking pictures and let me know which one you think to be the best!! NOW WE HAVE DOUBLE JPEG CODECS, THANKS TO n2o4!! I spent lots of time and unpacked many firmwares, this part took lots of time…
- Lots of work on the theme to add any icon it was missing! In n2o4 I took care of every aspect…It seems a second point, but you’ll agree that having icons all with the same style has a different impact on user experience, and it took very long to reach this point (special thanks to elalmadecuba)

- STARTBACKUP SOFTWARE! Written by madhacker in QT, this software will help you backup almost everything, including GPS saved positions of Location app!!! (Click here to know how it works, you need to install the qt installer to use this)

Is it possible to Edit the new Homescreen somehow to put the Dialler on the bottom left like it was before?
Its a superb firmware with this one very minor but important glitch. There is no soft-key for the dialler.

to syntesise: if i restore my sd backup (necessary for me) it refuses to install almost any application with error messages as “impossible to update” or “required authorization denied” It happened with QTinstaller and HXpather and other installations after restoring backup.. before restoring it installed both.. e.g. also track id doesnt install.

i really have to flash my phone twice? i still wont download. and i have both reservations and hesitations against downloading this CFW…can you just plug in an installer like HX? so the flashing will be done by the installer. i honestly am only a simple layman. i only want something new for my i8910. but, the dual flash thing is stopping me from downloading your CFW….i do hope you fix it on the n205…tsk…

Where is the problem in flashing your device twice? moreover, the second flash only takes some seconds…
this is the best solution to avoid having 1 version for each country which reduces the upload time for all the versions, and the maintenance time

But how can I add startup.gif and shutdown.gif animations plus sounds?
i really dont see any folder or do I have to create one and put the animations and files in it

I didnt know this simple tip… Just tried it and works great..
this makes it much better than other CFW where you can choose between both MBM and GIF….

I have never used unlock codes in my life sorry…you can flash another firmware on you N8 to debrand it anyway,
