Swype International Edition by faenil

Hi everyone! 🙂

Today I have a gift for you! I have modified the latest Nokia beta of Swype, and I have added many languages!!! 🙂

Unfortunately, 80% we won’t be able to add new layouts, so we can add language, but only the qwerty layout can be used 🙂

Qwertz and Azerty layout should be added by Nokia in the next swype releases, so just keep tight 🙂

Here’s my modded version’s features 🙂

– Compatible with Symbian S60 5th devices!! (just as the swype from Nokia 😉 )

– if you have the i8910, this version is ONLY FOR n2o4 SWYPE EDITION (I have not tested it on other versions 😉 )

– Based on latest 1.0.1296 beta from Nokia (it’s faster than the first one! Give it a try! 🙂 )

– ALL LANGUAGES USE THE QWERTY LAYOUT (with the proper language dictionary though 😉 )

– Languages available in this modded Swype: ENGLISH UK(*), ENGLISH US(*), ITALIAN, SLOVAKIAN, SLOVENIAN, ROMANIAN, GERMAN, DUTCH, FRENCH, CANADIAN FRENCH(*), SPANISH(*), PORTOGUESE(*), FINNISH, CROATIAN, DANISH, SERBIAN, SWEDISH, NORWEGIAN

(*) These languages have their own layout, so they’re full included, since Nokia included them in the latest beta 😉

  4. Grande faenil 😉 Per chi aveva già la precedente n2o4 Swype Experimental in cui andava installata la versione 0.0.0.10334-demo della Swype può semplicemente installare questo file .sis oppure deve prima disinstallare la precedente versione?

    1. Ho disinstallato la precedente, e installato questo file .sis, e funziona alla grande 😉 molto meglio della precedente 🙂 Niente delay, fluidissima, e si cambia automaticamente fa mini qwerty a qwerty a schermo intero ruotando il telefono, mentre la precedente no. Ottima 😀

  5. So this is why you weren’t posting anything this week:P One more question is there any way that we can for example get the english file and translate by our selfs in any other language not included there like for example albanian or something else?

  6. ive installed swype , turn it on , reboot phone and when i try to write a msg it wont appear the keyboard … just turn in landscape mode and all i can see are those stripes on the screen ! can anyone help me ? i have n2o4 non ks menu installed !

  7. Ciao Faenil, ho la versione N2o4 Nogadget no KS e purtroppo la tua Swipe modded non funziona! Non potresti fare qualcosa!? Non mi piace il KS nei menu e quindi non voglio installare le versioni con KS, ma vorrei proprio usare la tua Swipe. Piuttosto, non potresti far si che il KS nei menu fosse opzionabile? Trovo che questa inutile funzione tolga fluidità al touch e costringa a volte a ripetere il tocco per aprire una applicazione, invece senza il KS è praticamente impossibile sbagliare il tocco e doverlo ripetere.

    1. hi Fevves, and faenil, im very excited for this swype, but i dont know what do you mean by QWERTY layouts,it is the default one?i think its not, pls help a little bit, sorry for wasting your time for this very noob question 🙂

  11. hi , great piece of work you guys are doing.. its because of you and hyper-x that i m able to keep my i8910 .. you guys give it a new life with your mods and tweaks. thanks a lot

    just one quesion, i have installed swype on hyper-x v8-32 but when i activate it it locks all the keypad, qwerty, handwriting, no options appear. i have tried installing on C drive, and E drive. the texting options appear if i set swype to NO for use.

    any help would be really appreciated. thanks a lot bro.
